To Eat a God is a dark fantasy SVG narrative game with mysterious characters, difficult choices, multiple endings and secrets hidden in the Garden.
To Eat a God is a narrative-driven SVG game that blends dark fantasy, mystery, and unsettling story elements. Your character takes the role of a puppet, with their body controlled by an entity from another world.
WELCOME TO THE GARDEN
To Eat a God begins in the Garden, a strange realm ruled by seven mysterious Symbols. Each Symbol represents a different concept and has its own role within this unusual world. Your biggest challenge at first is fitting in and keeping your true nature hidden.
Suspicion grows because your character has no normal connection to any of the Symbols. Other inhabitants may begin questioning your presence, making every conversation and decision important.
The Seven Symbols and Their Mystery
According to the Garden's lore, the Symbols choose certain people after the Candle Festival. One selected person may even be connected to the reincarnation of the Creator. Your arrival does not follow the expected rules. This unusual connection becomes an important part of the story as you learn more about the Garden and its inhabitants.
Different characters also have their own personalities, goals, and opinions. Conversations can reveal useful information while also creating new risks depending on your responses.
Choices Shape Your Journey
Visual novel-style gameplay places the story and your decisions at the center of the experience. Dialogue scenes present different responses and actions, with each choice capable of changing what happens next.
Life in the Garden also includes work at a hotel, where your daily duties involve setting tables and serving the Symbols. These moments provide opportunities to meet characters, learn more about the world, and make decisions that influence your progress.
Many Endings
To Eat a God does not follow a single fixed storyline. Different decisions can lead toward different outcomes, including Bad Ends caused by choices that put your character in greater danger. Some paths may seem safe at first but reveal unexpected consequences later. Experimenting with different dialogue options and actions can uncover more of the story and lead to additional endings.
Survival Through Smart Choices
The Garden is not easy to navigate, and even small decisions can have major consequences. Careful attention to conversations, character reactions, and available choices can help you understand which paths may be safer. Your character's unusual connection to the Garden remains the central mystery. Every conversation, hotel task, and decision brings you closer to discovering why you were brought there and what the seven Symbols truly represent.
