Bad Time Simulator is a fast-paced boss game where you control a heart, dodge Sans’ attacks, manage your health and survive challenging battle patterns.
Bad Time Simulator is a fast-paced browser game based on the famous Sans boss battle. The entire experience focuses on one intense challenge: keeping your heart safe while Sans sends different attack patterns across the battle area.
Your character appears as a small heart, and movement becomes the key to survival. Quick reactions are important because attacks can arrive from different directions and change the safe space around you.
GAMEPLAY OVERVIEW
Bad Time Simulator revolves around controlling the heart and avoiding incoming attacks. Sans continuously creates obstacles, so standing still is rarely a good option. Your attention needs to stay on both the heart and the changing attack patterns. Safe movement through one attack can immediately lead into another, creating a constant test of reflexes.
Two Soul Modes Change the Controls
The heart has two different soul modes, and each one affects movement in its own way.
- Red Soul provides more direct movement, allowing the heart to move freely around the available space.
- Blue Soul introduces gravity into the movement system. The heart's position depends on your control input and gravity, making movement more restrictive than during Red Soul sections.
Sans' Main Attack Patterns
Different attacks keep the boss challenge from becoming predictable. Three notable patterns include:
Dragon Skulls: Large skull-shaped objects appear around the battle area and release beams of light. Their size makes positioning important, especially when several hazards appear together.
Psychokinesis: This attack affects the movement of your heart. Normal movement becomes harder to control, so quick adjustments are important when the pattern appears.
Bone Attacks: Bone patterns create obstacles that your heart needs to avoid. White bones can reduce your health when touched, while blue and green elements follow different interaction rules.
Different Modes for Different Players
Bad Time Simulator includes several modes that change how you experience the challenge:
Normal Mode offers the main progression, with difficulty increasing through the different stages.
Practice Mode provides a useful starting point for beginners. The slower learning process makes it easier to understand movement and recognize Sans' attack patterns.
Endless Mode focuses on continued survival, giving experienced players a chance to see how long they can last.
Single Attack Mode isolates individual attacks. This format works well for players who want to practice specific patterns instead of facing the complete challenge.
Custom Attack Mode is designed around customized attack patterns. Availability and content can vary depending on the version of the simulator.
